STARRY NIGHT
Isn’t it terrible to walk in a dark and rainy night? How could light help? This project is cooperating with the lighting company Anglepoise to explore the future applications of light. The fabric of this umbrella is made of two layers of waterproof films with the piezo and LED in the middle. By using
the piezo (a sensor could generate electricity when mechanical strain is applied), the LED light can be lighted by the pressure of the rain drops. It makes beautiful light effect without extra energy supply and it is a nature interaction which transfers the dark raining night into a poetic starry one.
